Test Details: Anti–double stranded DNA (dsDNA) antibodies are the hallmark of chronic inflammatory autoimmune disorder, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The patient presents with symptoms  such as persistent fatigue, pain in your joints, and a red rash resembling a butterfly across the nose and cheeks. This test is helpful for treatment management of SLE.
