Test Details: Dengue is an arboviral infection, which is mosquito borne. Infected patient may present with signs and symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, rash, aches, pain, fluid accumulation, mucosal bleeding, restlessness, progressive increase in haematocrit. NS1 antigen is a non-structural viral protein found in the infected patients from the first day of fever up to the fifth day. A positive Dengue NS1 test result is a confirmation of dengue virus infection.
