Test Details: Fructosamine test is done to assess how well your diabetes has been controlled by estimating blood glucose levels over the last 2-3 weeks. Most common test to assess blood glucose control is HbA1c. Proteins are present in the blood for about 14-21 days; hence fructosamine test reflects average blood glucose level over 2-3 weeks.
