Test Details: Sm/RNP antibody is a blood test used to detect Anti-Sm RNP antibodies. Presence of these antibodies helps to diagnose mixed connective tissue disorder. Mixed connective tissue disorder is an autoimmune disorder where a patient experiences symptoms similar to three types of connective tissue disorder i.e. SLE, polymyositis and scleroderma.
