Test Details: C-kit mutation is reported in cases of systemic mastocytosis, few cases of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), Myeloid Dysplastic Syndrome (MDS) and MDS derived AML. C-kit mutation in AML confers increased risk of relapse and decreased over all survival.
