PAX-2 has a wide expression range and is found in most renal cell carcinomas with the exception of chromophobe renal cell carcinoma and in tumours of mullerian origin including ovarian, endometrioid, and endocervical carcinomas in addition to lobular breast carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, epididymal tumour and Merkel cell carcinoma.
