Test Details: Liquid-based cytology (LBC) is a technique that enables cells to be suspended in a liquid medium and spread in monolayer for better morphological assessment. Pap test / LBC is usually indicated for routine screning as well as if there is any clinical suspicion of cancer cervix or of infection of the cervix or vagina.
