Test Details: Thyroid peroxidase antibodies are detected in a variety of thyroid conditions. Anti-TPO is the most sensitive test for detecting autoimmune thyroid disease and increased levels are seen especially in Hashimoto thyroiditis, idiopathic myxedema and Graves disease.
