Test Details: BRAF mutations is frequently observed in several human cancers, hereditary non-polyposis colorectal cancers, melanoma, lung cancers, ovarian cancers and thyroid cancers. BRAF gene is linked to drug resistance for epidermal growth factor receptors targeted drugs and is indicated in cancers prior to initiation of targeted drug treatment.
