Test Details: Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) typing is of clinical significance in determining tissue compatibility or HLA matching between donor and recipient transplant patients and in the assessment of disease associations. This test covers HLA typing for class II loci HLA DQB1. Accurate HLA matching between donor and patient significantly improves overall transplant survival.

Sample is to be collected only after 3 days of last dialysis or after three weeks of last blood transfusion. Duly filled HLA TRF along with normal TRF, photo Id and photo of patient are mandatory.
