Test Details: Brucella IgG antibody test is done to detect the presence of IgG antibodies formed in response to infection. Brucella specific IgM antibodies are produced in the first week after disease onset, reaching maximum after 2 months. IgG antibodies are detected after second week of infection, attaining a peak level of six to eight weeks later.
