Test Details: The Apolipoprotein (Apo) E is one of the five main types of blood lipoprotein (A-E) and is produced by APOE gene. Apo E is made in the liver and brain and helps in the transportation of dietary lipids (fats). The two methods to determine ApoE type are Genotyping and Electrophoresis.
